The easiest setup process requires you to upload a file to the root directory of your site and your away. Webmaster tools allow you to see error in your sitemap, internal and external links and much, much more.

Next on the list is analytics, this will allow you to track traffic to your site. To set it up you have to copy and paste the urchin tracking code provided on every page you want to track, just before the closing body tag. There are some great features to aid your business within analytics such as goal conversion and bounce rate.

Google reader, from a copywriter’s point of view this is a must. Google reader allows you to manage and read your RSS feeds quickly and efficiently. For those who don’t know an RSS feed is a summery of updated content from an external site, such as someone blog. This is a massive help for copywriting as you can find out what hot and what not and then use that information to create your own great unique content. I am not endorsing plagiarism here I am say to look at what going on in the world and put your own unique slant on it.

Google Mail, ok I will admit it I still think outlook is the best mail manger but Google mail is not just a mail manger but an email account and this has it uses. If your a Firefox user you can also use a Google mail account as an ftp file storage system with the gspace add-on.

Google Docs, this has all the main features of a office suite with the added advantage that it can be access any where with an Internet content. It also has file space so your document are store online.
