When any new website goes live onto the world wide web, it has a PageRank (PR) of 0. Regardless of anything. Full Stop. Thats it. But when a website manages to go from PR 0 to PR 5 after just six weeks, then that is quite special. It is even more special when that website belongs to Accomplished SEO.

It sounds like it is just standard practice for any website, but truth be told, there was also a little bit of luck involved as well! I’ll get to the luck part later, because there was a lot of hard work, time and effort put into the Accomplished SEO website.

Starting www.accomplishedseo.co.uk, began with many different off page Search Engine Optimisation techniques. A directed link campaign was heavily focussed on many specially selected websites. The websites were directly contacted and information was exchanged, enabling the Accomplished SEO website to gain more credibility. Accomplished SEO was also added to many directories and smaller search engines. Many more off page techniques were undertaken, but we wouldn’t be in business if we gave all of our secrets away!!!

Accomplished SEO also applied many on page SEO techniques, including keyword rich and relevant content. Robot.txt files were also added, and site navigation and site structure were also created and improved. And other factors were implemented, to further benefit the site, but again these are trade secrets!!!

Now for the bit of luck! The Google cache is always 6 weeks out of date. A snapshot of a website is taken and then many secret algorithms and formulas are applied to it to give the website a PageRank. It then takes six weeks for all of the websites on the World Wide Web to be cached and for the the PageRank to be applied. Accomplished SEO were lucky that when the snapshot was taken, the site was as far progressed as it was.
